Introduction

Bekins A-1 Movers, Inc. Office of Administration is centrally located in Chicago, Il.  This facility houses many of our divisions such as; Call Center, Customer Service, Military, Operations/Dispatch, Safety and Compliance, International, Claims, and Information Technology.  Our centralization started back in 2004. 

LaBelle/Rothery Movers, Inc. is an affiliate of Bekins A1 Movers and LaBelle Movers.  We have served the Chicago area and suburbs for over 100 years.  We are located in Lake Zurich, Illinois, and our solid brick and block building offers over 90,000 cubic feet of professionally managed storage space.  This storage space also includes a state-of-the-art security and sprinkler system.

History

George LaBelle, a pioneer of the family business was the Founding Father of one of the major van lines.  The LaBelle spirit is best illustrated by George’s determination to complete the first trip from Minneapolis, Mn. To New York City with a motorized van.  To accomplish this feat George and his crew planked a one-quarter mile through Wisconsin bog in order to deliver the goods on time.   On October 12, 2006, Bekins A1 Movers was fortunate to become the proud owner of LaBelle and their prestigious heritage.  Bekins A1 Movers has been in business for over 70 years and is the largest shareholder and agent of Bekins Van Lines.  We opened this facility with the dream of having many divisions handled out of one area.  This dream began with the Call Center.  The Call Center is where all potential customers make their initial contact with our company.  It is where we help them to map out their relocation.We have financial strength, quality commitment and corporate systems for national and international operations, communications and control, combined with an extensive network of 19 local and regional facilities.  We provide an unparalleled resource for the total relocation program.  The pioneering spirit is alive and well at Bekins A1 Movers.
